I'd like to announce some short courses which I am organising for spring and the beginning of summer 2011.
For several years now I've been waiting for the right moment to launch this project and with the completion of the floor in the main room, I believe the moment has arrived!
My idea is to invite different specialists who will propose short courses of a cultural or craft nature for either local people or for people further afield with the possibility of accommodating them.
This year we're starting with three courses :
One-day initiation to basket-making leaving with your first creation
(4th May)
Two days introductory course to either calligraphy and/or illumination using gold leaf and handmade colours.
(25th and 26th June)
Three day outdoor watercolour course
with myself instructing.
(30th June to 2nd July)
Can you please put the word out amongst your friends?
Any comments (polite and helpful) would be appreciated and get the blog moving around.

Je vous contacteau sujet des petits stages que je suis en train d’organiser pour le printemps et le début de l’été 2011.
Depuis plusieurs années j’attends un moment propice pour lancer ce projet et avec l’achèvement du sol dans la grande pièce chez nous, je sens que c’est le bon!
Mon idée est de faire venir différents intervenants qui proposeront des stages artistiques ou artisanaux soit aux gens du coin, soit au grand public avec la possibilité d’hébergement.
Cette année on commence avec trois stages:
stage d’initiation à la vannerie le 4 mai
stage de calligraphie et/ou enluminure le 25 et 26 juin
stage d’aquarelle en plein air du 30 juin au 2 juillet
Je vous joins l’affiche pour ces activités. Pourriez-vous en parler autour de vous et me faire savoir si vous avez des idées où je pourrai l’afficher bien en évidence (panneaux d’infos des villages) puisque je ne connais pas personnellement tous les meilleures points de publicité de la commune.
